Maryanne is the eldest daughter in the family.  Having grown up on a farm, she has an extensive knowledge of the breeds of beef and each of their specific qualities as livestock and as products for the shop.  Maryanne began working in the shop for a holiday job, and fell in love with it.  She asked her parents if she could stay, which of course they let her do.  Maryanne has also traveled a great deal, visiting 23 countries around Europe and South East Asia.  She loves working with the public in the shop, and dealing in specialist fresh meat cuts.  Maryanne is a Director who represents the Verkerks Deli (Armagh St shop).
