Pinch
of aniseed
Pinch of cumin
1½ cups of grated cheese
1 chopped bay leaf
splash of white wine
Verkerks Verona Salami, shredded
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
100g Butter
1/3 cup milk
½ tsp salt
Preheat oven to 200ºC
Combine all the dry ingredients, then cheese, wine & butter
Combine
eggs and milk, and add to mixture
Gently knead to form a dough
Make small rolls out of the dough and place on a baking sheet or
in a muffin tin
Bake in oven for 15-20 mins, or until lightly browned
