Karikaas Gouda Cheese
400g Puff pastry
herbs
onion
peaches
spring onion
asparagus
4 eggs
Method
Cook finely chopped onion in frypan, then chill in fridge
Roll out pastry to ½ cm thickness. Add the onion & herbs,
fold in half and roll out again to fit tray
Line the tray with the pastry. Place the diced ham steaks
in the pastry.
In a pan, caramelize the onions and peaches, then add chopped spring
onions & asparagus. Add this mixture to the filling in
the pastry.
Pour in beaten eggs.
Top the filling with grated Karikaas Gouda Cheese.
Cook in the oven for 10-15mins at 180°C
