Ingredients:
1 Onion

tsp garlic
230g
pack of Verkerks Shoulder Bacon
600g
Diced Beef Stewing Steak
5
Chopped mushrooms
1
Tbsp sweet Paprika
1
Beef Stock Cube
Salt
& Pepper
1
tin chopped tomatoes
2
Diced potatoes
1
chopped carrot
Red
wine to taste
Method:
Simmer the stewing steak for about ½ hour
In
a fry pan, sweat off the onion, garlic & bacon, then add to
the steak with the rest of the ingredients
Continue
to cook for about 1 hour - it will thicken as potato breaks down
You
can also add dumplings - a mixture of egg, flour, water onions &
herbs of your choice
