A bone to pick - Full of taste, Verkerk's Bone-in hams are cured and smoked for a real ham taste. Whether it be Christmas or your own celebration, these hams will please the most expert in ham critics.

 

 

Ham On The Bone

Description:

A whole pork leg, sugar cured, cooked and wood smoked for a traditional ham flavour and golden colour.

Packages: Whole or half leg.


Family Ham

Description: A cooked, bone in, pear shaped ham made from the eye of the pork shoulder. It is sugar cured, then hardwood smoked to enhance the flavour and golden colour.
Packages: Whole shoulder.


Classic Hock On

Description: A whole pork leg that has had the leg bone removed except for the hock. It is sugar cured and hardwood smoked, with the bone removed to make it easy to carve.
Packages: Whole shoulder


STORAGE:

Chill between 1 and 4C

Keep vacuumed or in breathable wrapper (eg. lunch wrap).

Shelf life after opening: 7 days at <4C

 

DISPLAY TIPS:

'Bone in Ham' looks festive, mounted on a forked stand, then garnished with glaze, pineapple and clove.

 

SERVING SUGGESTIONS:

To serve cold- carve off the bone

To serve hot - remove the skin and glaze with a 50/50 mix of chilli sauce and apricot jam. Reheat in oven on 180C for approximately 1 hour until golden brown. Carve hot and serve.
